The Art of the Sea: 23 Knitwear Designs Inspired by the Moomins weaves into its stitches the warmth of Moominmamma’s embrace, the wit of Little My, and the salt-tinged breath of the northern sea.

 The Art of the Sea is a collection born from a deep admiration for Tove Jansson, the Finnish writer and artist behind the beloved characters. While the collection marks the 80th anniversary of the Moomins, it is equally a tribute to Tove herself — to her extraordinary artistry, spirit and presence.

 Step with us into the stories of the Moomins — a world of mountains and seas, of theatre boats drifting through the reeds and the gentle safety of Moominmamma’s apron strings.
