Knit the City by Jake Henzler is a playful and innovative collection of modular knitting designs inspired by iconic buildings from cities around the world.
Each design is created as a knitted “building block,” allowing you to mix, match, and customise architectural elements such as windows, rooftops, and gables. This modular approach gives you endless creative freedom to design your own unique cityscape in yarn.
How It Works
The buildings are knitted as individual blocks that can be joined together to create larger projects, including:

Each city includes guidelines for yarn quantities and block requirements for three project sizes:
• Large blanket
• Baby blanket
• Cushion cover
However, you are encouraged to use the blocks creatively—combine, rearrange, and design freely. The possibilities are limitless.
