In this hands-on workshop, Aleks will take you through lace knitting using yarn overs and decreases to seamlessly work over the top of stockinette stitch.
You will be ready to tackle fun lace patterns such at the Tappid Hat and Mitts
Skill Level
Advanced Beginner / Intermediate Knitter ; students should be comfortable to knit and purl, cast - on, bind - off, and reading from charts.

Materials Required
- 4.5mm / US 7 needles - approx 24" / 60cm circular needles or straight needles
- 4.5mm / US 7 Double Pointed needles, straight needle or second circular needle.
- Stitch Marker
- 20gm of worsted weight yarn in a solid colour
- 10g of fingering 4 ply weight yarn in a solid contrasting colour to worsted weight yarn.
Homework
Students will be given instructions to knit base swatch for workshop. Takes approx 1 hour to knit.
