Skill Level
Intermediate Knitter - students should be comfortable to knit and purl in the round, should be comfortable knitting stranded colourwork / fair isle, cast on and bind off.

Materials Required
- 2 sets of US 8 / 5mm needles for knitting small circumference (double pointed needles or circular needles for magic loop)
- 4.5mm / US 7 Double Pointed needles, straight needle or second circular needle.
- Stitch Marker
- Sharp scissors
- 3 - 5 mm crochet hook
- Worsted Weight Yarn (preferable non - superwash yarn)
- MC (main colour used in homework swatch (20gm)
- CC1 - (contrast colour 1 used in homework swatch 20gm)
- CC2 - (contrast colour 2 used for crochet and steek sandwich band 10gm
Homework
Students will be given instructions to knit base swatch for workshop. Takes approx 1 hour to knit.
